Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of athletes’ physical health, including physiology and body mechanics evaluations
- Develop and implement injury prevention strategies tailored to individual athletes’ needs
- Provide immediate care and treatment for sports-related injuries using proper medical terminology and techniques
- Design personalized training programs focusing on strength, flexibility, nutrition, and overall fitness enhancement
- Educate athletes on body mechanics, nutrition, and injury management through health coaching sessions
- Maintain detailed records of athlete progress, treatment plans, and rehabilitation milestones
- Collaborate with sports medicine professionals to coordinate care and ensure adherence to best practices in athlete health management
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Athletic Trainer or in a similar sports medicine role
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sports-related injuries
- Familiarity with medical terminology and rehabilitation procedures
- Skills in health coaching, personal training, and nutrition guidance
- Ability to assess body mechanics and develop effective injury prevention programs
- Excellent communication skills to educate athletes on health topics effectively
- Certification from a recognized athletic training or sports medicine organization is preferred
