What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Sales & Partnerships position at Bandera Networks?
Head of Sales & Partnerships
Full-time • Dallas–Fort Worth • Hybrid • Reports to CEO
If you haven't personally opened doors, built relationships, and closed deals in property technology or commercial building services, this role is not for you.
Bandera Networks has been the most trusted technology integration partner in Texas for over a decade.
We modernise residential communities through tailored technology infrastructure, advanced security, enhanced efficiency, and an elevated resident experience.
50 W2 employees. Profitable and growing. A top-rated installation partner for one of the largest smart home technology companies in the country.
You are walking into a company with a decade of reputation, a loyal client base, a proven delivery operation, and a sales infrastructure being built specifically to support this role with a CRM, pipeline management, follow-up systems, messaging, and outbound strategy.
The Opportunity
You will own revenue development across two fronts:
Direct Sales | Property Managers & Owners
Bandera’s strength is our vendor-agnostic approach. When we connect with a property manager early, we guide technology recommendations, handle installation, and provide long-term support. Your job is to make sure we are always the first company they call.
- Identify and pursue multi-family property owners, management companies, and developers across DFW and beyond
- Build relationships with portfolio-level decision-makers working with hundreds and thousands of units
- Position Bandera as a trusted technology advisor, not a subcontractor brought in by software vendors
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and handoff to operations
- Work the existing proposal pipeline where significant revenue remains on the table
Technology Partner Channels
We are the top-rated installation partner for one of the largest smart home technology companies in the country. This partnership generates thousands of units each year. We need to build more relationships like it.
- Build and maintain relationships with smart building software vendors, proptech companies, and IoT platforms
- Position Bandera as the preferred installation partner for companies that need reliable field support
- Structure agreements that generate consistent, predictable project volume
What Success Looks Like
By 6 months: Working pipeline with measurable deal flow. Existing proposals systematically followed up. At least one deepened partner relationship and two new partner conversations. The CEO is no longer the only person generating business.
By 12 months: Predictable pipeline across both channels. New revenue clearly linked to your efforts. Partner relationships producing steady volume. Revenue no longer depends on one person.
This Role Is For You If
- You have a track record of opening and closing in property technology, multi-family, or commercial building services
- You think strategically about market positioning and growth, not just individual transactions
- You collaborate well with a founder and can contribute to the direction of the business, not just execute tasks
- You actively hunt new business, find deals, work them, and close them
- You work with urgency and do not need someone managing your daily activity
- You are based in or willing to relocate to Dallas–Fort Worth
This Role Is Not For You If
- You need a warm pipeline and inbound leads handed to you
- You see yourself as an account manager rather than a true salesperson
- You want a title without the willingness to actively sell
- You execute but don’t think because this role requires both skills
Compensation
Total target compensation ranges from $150,000-$200,000 commensurate with experience, and includes base salary and commission. Competitive benefits package including full family healthcare, vehicle allowance, 401(k) contribution, and uncapped commission potential.
How We Hire
This is not a maintenance role.
This is for someone who wants to take a strong, profitable, trusted business and help scale it into its next chapter.
We want to know how you approach markets, how you build relationships, and how you close. Expect a direct conversation with our CEO.
If you've done this before and want to do it again with a real operation behind you, let's talk.
