Job Title: A/S Technician Level 2
Department: Advanced Systems
Reports to: Director of Advanced Systems
Job Summary:
A level 2 access control technician is primarily responsible for the quality installation of devices for commercial and residential projects. They can diagnose and troubleshoot access control and network issues. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment while also being able to work independently, think creatively, and have excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to travel across the country is a requirement.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Proficiency in assembling and installing access control panels, power supplies, cable pathways, CAT cables, and low-voltage cables.
Install door hardware (Mag locks, electric strikes, card readers, etc.)
Good base knowledge of network technology
Ability to learn and execute wiring diagrams for access control systems.
Understanding of general programming of access control systems.
Must be able to acquire all tools necessary per Bandera Network standards within 90 days of the start date.
Functional knowledge of low-voltage systems and relays.
Ability to test voltage and continuity.
Has an active access control license or the ability to obtain one.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
