EHS TECHNICIAN

Position Summary

The EHS Technician is responsible for providing field-level environmental, health, and safety support to an active client project site. This role focuses on daily job site inspections, hazard identification, and enforcement of OSHA, company, and client safety requirements. The EHS Technician partners closely with site leadership and field crews to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure accurate, timely safety documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  Conduct daily job site inspections to ensure compliance with EHS policies and regulatory standards

  Monitor field activities for potential hazards and communicate safety expectations

  
  


• 
  

  Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

  Maintain thorough and accurate safety documentation and inspection logs

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and field training

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with site leadership and field crews to foster a proactive safety culture

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure adherence to OSHA, company, and client-specific safety requirements

  
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in construction

  
  


• 
  

  Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS best practices

  
  


• 
  

  Strong observational, documentation, and communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently in a field-based, fast-paced environment

  
  


• 
  

  OSHA 10 (Construction) required

  
  


• 
  

  OSHA 30 (Construction) preferred

  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  

  BCSP certification preferred (e.g., CHST, STS)

  
  


• 
  

  Associate’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field

  
  


• 
  

  Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

  
  

• 
  

  Pay is DOE (depending on experience).
