We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. As an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients and the practice, guiding patients through treatment options, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience from consultation to completion. Your role is vital in fostering patient trust and satisfaction while supporting the clinical team in delivering outstanding orthodontic care.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a welcoming environment for new and returning patients.
- Educate patients about orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes with clarity and transparency.
- Coordinate treatment plans by discussing financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and payment options to facilitate patient understanding and commitment.
- Schedule appointments efficiently while managing the practice's calendar to optimize patient flow.
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment progress, appointment reminders, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes, financial information, and correspondence.
- Collaborate closely with orthodontists and clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and exceptional patient service.
- Support administrative tasks such as submitting insurance claims, processing payments, and managing patient inquiries with professionalism.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred, especially within orthodontics.
- Proven ability to provide effective medical administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable discussing finances and guiding patients through decisions
- Exceptional communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and address patient concerns empathetically.
