Bancroft is actively seeking a Licensed Behavior Analyst to join our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Center of Excellence; a team of approximately 50 Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBAs/LBA-Ds) and Licensed Assistant Behavior Analysts (LaBAs) providing services across our organization. We work together to treat challenging behavior, build skills and have the ability to collaborate with a large group of like-minded clinicians.
We are looking for a Licensed Behavior Analyst, LBA, for our children’s campus residential program in Mt. Laurel NJ. The campus program serves children, primarily with ASD and related diagnoses, who experience behavioral challenges. The residential treatment program includes an interdisciplinary approach to care, rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis. The LBA will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team that includes nursing, psychiatry, and operational support. The LBA will direct the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, along with skill acquisition components of treatment within this framework. The LBA serves in a leadership and supervisory role, managing Behavior Support Specialists (often LBAs in training) while also conducting direct clinical work.
The Behavior Analyst supervises and oversees all activities associated with the development and implementation of behavior analytic services within the Individual Service Plan and Behavior Intervention Plan.

The Behavior Analyst supervises and oversees all activities associated with the development and implementation of behavior analytic services within the Individual Service Plan and Behavior Intervention Plan.
- Leads the development and implementation of behavior plans; this includes functional behavior assessment/analysis, preference assessments and treatment evaluations.
- Engages in ongoing data review and analysis to ensure effective programming.
- Identifies training needs and develops and conducts those trainings to ensure the ongoing knowledge and ability to effectively implement behavior plans.
- Conducts/oversees team screening admission evaluations and intake assessments; oversees the admission, transition, and discharge processes.
- Coordinates and leads clinical case review meetings (rounds) to ensure proper data review and discussion of the needs of persons’ served.
- Serves as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
- Conducts and presents research to internal and external audiences.
- The Behavior Analyst serves as a clinical supervisor, implementing ABA themselves but also, training and directly supervising Behavior Support Specialists.

- Master’s degree with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.
- BCBA certification required. *New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required. A PhD in a related discipline is desirable.
- Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred. Prior management experience is also preferred.
- Though NJ licensure is a requirement, candidates with an active BCBA certification may be eligible to interview.
