We are a large international bank with an office located in Orlando looking for a highly motivated analytical thinker to join our Credit team.
Position:
Credit Analyst
Job Summary:
The Credit Analyst will support business units by performing financial analysis, credit monitoring, and preparing reports for management and Head Office. The role involves analyzing customer financials, assembling credit files, and preparing credit opinions and presentations for the Credit Committee.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
Strong knowledge of accounting and lending concepts
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, mainly in mathematics
Proficiency with computer software, financial analysis tools, and banking applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Portuguese and/or Spanish is a plus
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Main Responsibilities:
Analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Prepare credit opinions and presentation materials for management and the Credit Committee
Maintain detailed and organized credit files
Assist in ongoing credit monitoring and portfolio reporting including risk assessments
Interact regularly with management and Head Office representatives
Compensation:
Compensation for these 35 hours per week, full time roles includes a base annual salary in line with the market and the applicant’s experience, plus eligibility for discretionary Bonus.
