Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Remote Catering Sales Coordinator to join our vibrant team! In this pivotal role, you will drive the growth of our catering services by managing client relationships, coordinating event details, and maximizing sales opportunities from a remote location.
Our compensation will be 10% of gross sales for each order u will be able to bring on table
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences
- Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu planning, setup requirements, and service timelines
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Upsell additional services such as event enhancements, beverage packages, or special accommodations to increase sales potential
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote catering offerings through targeted campaigns and event marketing strategies
- Manage event budgets meticulously, ensuring cost control and profitability while maintaining high-quality standards
- Utilize event management software and CRM systems to track client interactions, sales pipelines, and event details efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in catering sales, event planning, or hospitality industry roles with a focus on client communication and customer service
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to upsell effectively in a competitive market
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of managing event budgets, contracts, banquet operations, and guest services
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—to liaise confidently with clients and internal teams
- Experience in hospitality or events management is highly preferred; familiarity with hotel or banquet operations is a plus
- Demonstrated project management skills with a focus on detail orientation and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining team collaboration through effective time management
