providing flexible space for individuals and teams to start and grow, along with inspiring events
and supportive community. We are seeking a Part-Time Community Coordinator to support
operations on site at Bamboo Midtown inside The Jefferson Hub.
Community Coordinator Success
In this position, you’ll work directly with our community team to provide daily operations and
member support creating an excellent hospitality experience. This role is a part-time position working on site at The Jefferson Hub, a historic school renovated into coworking, offices, and collaborative meeting and event spaces.
● Community Support. Support our community by serving as our front desk community team, greeting and welcoming in all, answering questions, facilitating tours or offering directions on the building. Ensure that all community requests brought to the front desk are handled with an eye for service, detail, hospitality and timeliness. This can include membership sign-ups, walk-in tours, or welcoming move-ins of large teams.
● Workspace Operations. Ensure that all shared common areas for our building’s workspaces are organized, stocked, and staged throughout the day conducting frequent rounds of facilities. Support stocking and ordering within your center budget. Conduct community support tasks such as making coffee, managing packages and mail, and staging common area furniture. Proactively report or solve facilities improvements to your team.
● Community Coordination. Build relationships with our members and tenants at the
building and encourage them how to best utilize our space and shared membership
perks. Connect them with supporting resources and other members.
● Community Event Planning. Working collaboratively with your team, supporting the
execution of regular monthly events that engage our members, welcoming in new
guests, creating a joyful experience at Bamboo.
● Project Management. Those who excel in this role are excellent project/task managers
who can stay organized throughout a very busy day, multitasking between facilities,
member support, and hosting events. They thrive in active environments and
can manage their own time well in a vibrant workplace setting.

Compensation & Perks
● Total Target Compensation: $23/hour for up to 20 hours a week
● Flexible work schedule reporting on site 3 days a week, ideally Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Thursdays.

Paid Time Off during holidays:
○ Additional 13 paid holidays: Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Day After, Christmas Eve & Day, New Years Eve
and Day, and Martin Luther King Jr Day, and two flex holidays
○ In addition to above, all Bamboo locations close down for additional paid time
during the week between Christmas and New Years though time off will be
planned together with The Jefferson Hub’s holiday hours at this location.
