Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral equipment issues for desktops, laptops, servers, and network-connected devices.
- Provide first-level technical support to staff, ensuring timely, accurate, and user-focused solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other supported applications.
- Identify recurring issues and proactively recommend preventive solutions to strengthen system reliability.
- Provide hands-on support with installation, configuration, maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades.
Systems & Software Management
- Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory; assist with onboarding setup, including PC, phone, and device deployment.
- Support Microsoft server technologies, including Active Directory, MFA, and related tools.
- Maintain, update, and document IT processes, configurations, and procedures.
Asset & Security Management
- Manage and track IT asset inventory including computers, laptops, printers, phones, monitors, and peripherals.
- Implement asset tagging and oversee equipment surplus to optimize resources.
- Ensure the proper disposal of devices and hard drives containing sensitive patient information, following HIPAA and security protocols.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
Qualifications & Education
- High school diploma required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience considered.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an IT support or technician role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows PC hardware, operating systems, upgrades, and component replacement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and general PC troubleshooting.
- Experience with Aprima (EMR) preferred.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, MFA, and basic server support.
- Experience working in a medical environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
