ETL DataStage Developer

• 6-9 years of experience with Object-Oriented Design and coding with variety of languages.
• Prior experience in Personalization domain will be a big plus.
• Expertize in programming knowledge in Java - Solid understanding of data structures and common algorithms
• Experience in Parallel and distributed system
• Good knowledge of SOA and Microservices architecture with hands-on experience of design and implementation of Web Services/API using REST/SOAP
• Hands-on with application design, data management and automated testing.
• Exposure in Big Data Technologies and scripting“ Hadoop, HDFS, Hbase, Hive, Shell, JavaScript, ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, Redis, MongoDB, NoSQL DB2 will be an added advantage
• A self-starter with the ability to question status-quo and manage ambiguity.

Will be working on agile team based on 2 weeks sprints, doing some data research and perform ETL development. Team is migrating to cloud that is where coding and unit testing comes in play before releasing data to production. Doing data research, performing UAT, and Unit testing

The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) is responsible for reviewing electrical corporations' Wildfire Mitigation Plans and ensuring compliance with Public Utilities Code sections 8386 and following. It develops safety performance metrics, conducts safety culture assessments, and issues safety certifications as per section 8389. Annually, in collaboration with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), Energy Safety conducts safety culture assessments (SCA) to evaluate and promote a strong safety culture in wildfire mitigation efforts within electrical corporations.

Mandatory Qualifications

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing teams and/or programs with direct relevance to hazard mitigation, safety performance metrics, safety culture, and the electrical utility sector.

• Bachelor’s degree
• PMP Certification
• Experience with the electrical utility industry.
• Proven track record of leading safety improvements and achieving measurable safety performance outcomes.
• Proficient in Apex and VisualForce (Apex classes, triggers, Apex batch processes, Apex Web services and APIs, Visualforce Pages, Visualforce Components & Controllers, Test coverage classes, and JavaScript.)
• Lightning Platform Experience and configuration.
• Excellent understanding of Salesforce SOQL, SOSL.
• Exposure to the SFDC data model, data architecture, and data management
• Thorough understanding of DevOps and change management process

Duties And Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintain automated testing processes with the other members of the automation team using Java, TestNG, Selenium and Appium.
• Analyzes existing QA practices and makes recommendations and strategies for improvement as well execute testing.
• Maintains and executes manual smoke and regression scripts to ensure that new code, functionality, or new releases have not introduced errors to existing functionality.
• Documents and tracks all test results in accordance with defined processes.
• Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
• Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications.
• Interfaces with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.

• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• Experience in software testing, including experience in the Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.

• Basic Knowledge of Automation testing
• Mid-Level understanding of coding technologies: HTML, CSS and java
• Experience with Selenium or another automated test suite is preferred.
• Ability to write and execute acceptance tests and test cases.
