The Accounting Assistant works as directed by the Controller. This role will support the accounting department in day-to-day operations, including assisting accounts payable, Instrument insurance project & cash deposits & check log and other projects as needed. Duties & Responsibilities:Assist in processing Accounts Payable transactions accurately and timelyCopy & distribute check activity to AdvancementComplete check log weeklyComplete Cash Flow bank detail weeklyDistribute & track instrument insurance paymentsAssist with ad hoc reports, projects, and other accounting tasks as neededQualifications:Prefer Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, related field, or certifications in Accounting/Finance.1-3 years of finance experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
