Come join our team in a full-time, on-site role as a Print Production Specialist located in Owings Mills, MD. Working alongside the owner, Baltimore SignSmiths' Print Production Specialist will support all aspects of sign production including coordinating print production on a HP large format printer and collaborating with the design team to achieve high quality signage including printed (vinyl) and 3D projects.
The Print Production Specialist will also responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment, ensuring high-quality print production, and managing print jobs from start to finish.
Daily tasks include:
- Coordinating print projects
- Performing quality control checks
- Troubleshooting printing issues
- Interacting with customers to understand their requirements and provide excellent customer service
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Print Production and operating large format Printers
- Experience with vinyl plotting cutting using RIP software as well as by hand for highly detailed work
- Skills in Print Design and Printing processes with a keen eye for quality control and design accuracy
- Customer Service skills
- Attention to detail and quality control
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to handle multiple print jobs and meet deadlines with tight turnaround times
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is highly desired
