Our services include crisis intervention, mobile crisis response, medical detoxification, crisis residential services, case management, in-home support, and community-based behavioral health programs. Every day, our team works to ensure individuals receive the care, support, and connection they need during life's most challenging moments.

The Opportunity

CarePoint Response is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversight for our ASAM Level 3.7 Withdrawal Management Program, Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services, and Crisis Stabilization Residential Program.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Medical Director, Chief Program Officer, Nurse Manager, and interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, integrated care that addresses substance use, psychiatric, and physical health needs. You will play a critical role in supporting client safety, clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement across residential and withdrawal management services.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about recovery-oriented care, crisis stabilization, addiction treatment, and system-wide clinical leadership.

  • Participate in admission reviews, discharge planning, transition planning, and ongoing clinical case consultation.
  • Monitor client safety, withdrawal symptoms, psychiatric risk, medication effectiveness, and overall medical stability.

Quality, Compliance & Performance Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with COMAR regulations, CARF accreditation standards, and CarePoint policies.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, documentation reviews, and corrective action planning.
  • Analyze clinical outcomes, performance metrics, incident trends, and utilization data to improve service delivery.
  • Participate in risk management, incident review, and regulatory readiness activities.

Staff Development & Clinical Consultation

  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance to nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Support staff training related to withdrawal management, medication administration, crisis stabilization, trauma-informed care, documentation standards, and client safety.
  • Promote a culture of clinical excellence, professionalism, recovery, and continuous learning.
