What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parking Garage Attendant position at Baltimore County Revenue Authority?
The Baltimore County Revenue Authority is seeking a part time Parking Garage Attendant in Towson. The Parking Garage Attendant is responsible for handling all customer interactions in a professional manner while maintaining the physical appearance of the parking garage. Duties include sweeping the garage and emptying/replacing trash can liners. We are looking for an individual who must be available to work Thursday - Saturday from 6:00 pm - 12:00 am. This 3 day a week position will average 18 hours/week. Additional hours may become available as needed.

Duties Include:
-Greet and assist customers in a professional manner
-Help customers navigate the self pay kiosks
-Serve as the point of contact for all questions related to parking in the facility
-Communicate via intercom at all pay stations and exit gates in a courteous and professional manner
-Patrol parking levels on foot throughout shift to ensure all needs are met
-Perform maintenance tasks such as trash pickup, emptying trash cans, replacing trash bags, etc.
-Assist management with other duties as needed
Minimum Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: A minimum of 6 months previous customer service experience. Specific Skills/Abilities: Strong verbal communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, ability to exercise good judgment, and adaptable. Having a thorough knowledge of all area garages, surrounding streets, directions and landmarks in the area is a plus. Basic understanding of computer based systems. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and be able to be sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
