What are the responsibilities and job description for the Refreshment Stand Attendant position at Baltimore Country Club?
Baltimore Country Club is looking to hire Refreshment Stand Attendants. This position is responsible for interacting with members and guests on the East and West Golf Course and will provide food and beverages as requested. This position requires a candidate who can maintain a clean workspace, provide a friendly environment for the members and guest, and is able to serve alcohol as well.
ABOUT BALTIMORE COUNTRY CLUB
Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3,300 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, WORKING CONDITIONS AND OTHER FACTORS:
- Baltimore County regulations requires those who serve alcohol to be 21 years of age or older.
- Bend, squat, kneel, climb and reach on a daily basis
- Performs tasks requiring sustained repetitive motion and /or fine motor skills
- Lift, carry and place in overhead storage items up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to move freely and quickly around the Club
- Ability to work evenings and weekend
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A REFRESHMENT STAND ATTENDANT:
As an attendant for the Refreshment Stand, you are a part of the daily experience at Baltimore Country Club. In this position, you will interact with many of our members and guests of all ages. Greeting them with a smile, asking how they are doing, and going above and beyond to accommodate their requests is what separates Baltimore Country Club from other organizations. This position provides golfers on both the East and West Courses with food and beverages throughout the day. Recording sales, replenishing inventory, and maintaining a clean work area are additional responsibilities that will allow for a successful and meaningful interaction between you and our golfers.
