We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The Automotive Technician will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including domestic and for vehicles and diesel engines.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for automotive repair tasks.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance services, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
- Execute alignment and transmission repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Assist in auto estimating for repair costs and timeframes.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician, preferably in a dealership setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with ADAS technologies is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to vehicle systems.
- Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools for automotive repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Welding experience is beneficial but not required.
