POSITION PURPOSEThe Integration & Development Analyst supports the development, monitoring, and maintenance of BAC’s application and integration landscape, with a high focus on Integrations for related SAP and non-SAP systems. The role involves assisting in resolving integration issues, monitoring system interfaces, and contributing to development and enhancement of existing applications.This position is designed for an entry-level resource with a recent degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. The successful candidate will be eager to learn a wide variety of systems and technologies, gain hands-on experience in SAP & third-party integrations, and develop technical expertise, with a low code platform like Outsystems, and with multiple programming languages & technologies, within the Global Business Systems organization. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Principle accountabilities are:System Integration Monitoring & SupportMonitor integrations across SAP CPI and other connected platforms.Identify, analyze, and assist in resolving integration issues or failed message flows.Support incident resolution, including documentation and follow-up actions.Collaborate with senior analysts, developers, and architects to ensure system stability.Application Development & EnhancementAssist in the design, development, and testing of application components.Maintain and enhance existing solutions following internal standards and best practices.Participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers’ feedback.Develop technical documentation for deliverables.Continuous Improvement & LearningLearn about SAP & third-party integration tools, APIs, and cloud development technologies.Participate in projects to improve system performance or process efficiency.Proactively explore and suggest opportunities for system and process improvements.Collaboration & CommunicationWork closely with business analysts, process owners, and GBS colleagues globally.Communicate progress, challenges, and ideas clearly and professionally.Support project documentation, presentations, and knowledge sharing within the team. PERFORMANCE INDICATORS There are no direct reports for this position. The Integration & Development Analyst plays an important supporting role in projects.No specific grants of authority have been assigned to this function.The position requires regular interaction with:Members of the Global Business Systems Team. b. Business departments when assisting with system issues. c. Cross-functional teams and third-party service providers.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Basic understanding of software development concepts (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).Familiarity with web services, APIs, or integration principles.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.Preferred:Basic exposure to SAP systems, cloud integration, or database concepts.Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git) and the software development life cycle (SDLC).Knowledge of scripting (JavaScript, Groovy, or similar) is a plus.WORKING CONDITIONS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
