Job Summary
Operate welding/ extruder machines and/or equipment to meet the plant's production requirements, following established procedures, EHS regulations, and maintaining full compliance with quality standards and specifications
DUTIES / TASKS
1 Operate Welding or Extrusion equipment and Processes
· Set up, start, operate, and shut down production machines according to work instructions
· Monitor equipment parameters to ensure optimal performance
· Adjust settings within approved limits to maintain product quality and flow
2 Maintain Product Quality
· Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
· Conduct in-process inspections, measurements, or tests
· Identify, report, and segregate non-conforming products
3 Support Continuous Improvement
· Participate in Lean/Kaizen activities to reduce waste and improve efficiency
· Provide feedback to supervisors on process bottlenecks or equipment issues
· Maintain accurate production and downtime records for analysis
4. Housekeeping and Equipment Care
· Keep work area clean and organized following 5S principles
· Perform basic preventive maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, minor adjustments)
· Assist maintenance teams during repairs or changeovers
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60.0 per week
