Entry-Level Accounting & Customer Service Associate
Location: Rockton, Illinois
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site (Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm)
Pay Scale: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Position Overview
This dual-role position combines foundational accounting responsibilities with direct customer interaction. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys helping customers while maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities of Position:
Accounting Duties:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with monthly closing processes
- Support payroll processing as needed
Customer Service Duties:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Resolve billing questions and account discrepancies
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Maintain customer account information
- Provide professional and friendly support to clients
Qualifications / Requirements / Skills
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
