What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brewpub Kitchen Staff position at Balsam Falls Brewing Co.?
We are a Family owned Brewpub who strive to make lasting memories with our Patrons and our community.
We are looking for responsible, enthusiastic individuals who have the experience and ability to work under busy conditions, self motivated, have the desire and creativity to occasionally contribute to new menu ideas, and have the energy to help the growth of our business.
An ideal candidate is someone with a great work ethic, possesses a sense of urgency while prioritizing task efficiency, and who has some service industry experience, with the willingness and flexibility to work weekends, as well as, pick up shifts as the need arises. We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities (Additional responsibilities may apply)
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Answer, report, follow SOPs with Head Cooks direction and critiques as needed.
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
- Wash dishes as needed.
- Stock inventory appropriately.
- Ensure food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Handle stress well
Able to stand for a long period of time
Able to walk up and down stair while carrying up to 50lbs.
Love and knowledge of craft beer is a plus
ServSafe certified is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
