Role:

Paints, hangs vinyl, and performs furniture repairs for the entire casino hotel.

Responsibilities:

Paints all areas of casino hotel, including but not limited to hotel rooms, ceilings, walls, door frames, back of house, elevator areas on all floors, stairwells, vending areas, offices.
Vinyls specified areas of casino hotel including but not limited to hotel rooms, corridors, vending areas, meeting and banquet areas.
Maintains good housekeeping practices in paint shop and work areas.
Orders and receives materials related to area and maintain orderly inventory.
Maintains knowledge of property information and memorabilia.
Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High School diploma general education (GED) and three years related experience and be able to mix colors.
Must have experience in wallpaper hanging and furniture finishing.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Maintain flexibility to handle changing priorities.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.
Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
Keen attention to detail.
Strong tactical skills.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Training
All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
