Job Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Laborer - Lead is responsible for ensuring an attractive, safe, comfortable and well-maintained environment for all guests and team members. This position's wage is $18.
Essential Functions:
- Develops, maintains a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/ external guest service by all team members
- Able to lead team members during their shift
- Has the ability to check HVAC equipment using the BMS
- Trains personnel in some aspects of their position
- Gardening and cleaning where appropriate
- Changing of light bulbs
- Snow removal
- Painting throughout the facility
- Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures
- Respond to maintenance calls during the shift
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Must have an EPA 608 type 1 and 2, or universal certification
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Good knowledge of hand and power tools
- Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
- Knowledge of all promotions and events
- Able to work flexible shifts
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Negotiating stairs and ramps. Standing for long periods.
- Walking long distances. Frequently required to kneel and crouch.
- Lifting, operating, and transporting all facility equipment.
- Pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, turning, lifting, stretching, and climbing as needed to perform the various essential functions and job duties.
Environmental Working Conditions:

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.

Casino environment, hotel lobby, back of the house and outside facilities grounds.
