What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVS - Utility position at Bally's?
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining public and back-of-house spaces within a facility clean and safe.
- Removes litter from guest areas, cleans ashtrays, slot machines, spills, broken glass, etc.
- Cleans and stocks restrooms as assigned
- Cleans various offices, lounges, gift shops, removing hazards, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, emptying ashtrays and trash receptacles, wiping down surfaces and performing other housecleaning tasks.
- Greet customers, answer customer questions and relay customer needs to other employees or to their supervisor
Competencies:
- Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks as requested
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English
- Ability to work flexible schedules, to include nights, holidays and weekends
Work Environment:
- Inside, Dry, Noisy, Heat, Hot, High Places, Hazards Fumes/Chemicals, second-hand smoke
- Outside, Wet, Odors, Changing Temperatures, Cold
Physical Demands:
- Standing, Walking for long periods of time,
- Reaching, Kneeling, Carrying, Pulling, Lifting and Pushing up to 50lbs,
- Bending/Stooping, Observing, Stretching, Turning, Balancing.
