The Role
- Supervises a designated crew in performance of daily work duties. Briefs other supervisors and coordinates with other departments for special events.
- Maintains, records and logs as required by the facility office.
- Briefs Maintenance Manager daily, relating facts, questions, and other necessary information pertinent to the successful operation of the facilities department.
- Coordinates with other departments for special projects, work requests, and work assignments. Supervises a designated crew in performance of daily work duties and assists as needed to insure timely completion.
- Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers, fellow employees, vendors, and the general public.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Directly supervises shift employees in the Maintenance Department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; insuring timely and quality completion; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
