Responsibilities
- Assists, if needed, with written reports regarding security-related incidents involving guests, employees and/or the property.
- Escorts and observes guests and employees to ensure their safety and protection.
- Identifies potential safety hazards and reports same to the appropriate individual for proper resolution.
- Knows hazardous materials used on property and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing same.
- Serves as dispatcher during emergency situations, as needed, and coordinates solutions.
- Informs outside agencies of any unusual or suspicious situations on property.
- Operates company vehicles as directed.
- Ensures safe transportation of company monies and gaming tokens.
- Assists in the opening and closing of gaming tables.
- Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained throughout the property. Lives by the Hard Rock values.
- Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Maintains a series of keys to access locked areas, as necessary.
- Requests and accepts identification from all persons who appear to be under the age of 21 to ensure compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.
- Must project a professional and positive image.
- High energy level.
- Excellent non-verbal communication skills – good posture, able to establish eye contact, and positive body language.
- Ability to handle and carry out instructions.
- Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
- Must be able to maintain composure under stress in a fast-paced work environment.
