Role
Oversees and monitors Stewards to ensure a safe working environment and that all equipment and work areas are kept clean.
Responsibilities
Assists in training and evaluating of Stewards.
Ensures maintenance and proper care of equipment.
Ensures a safe, clean and sanitary work environment.
Adheres to the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) to ensure the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.
Enforces department and property policies and procedures.
Will be asked by supervisors and chef to perform various kitchen duties based on business and operations.
Upholds the Mission Statement – We create authentic experiences that rock.
Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.
Lives by the Hard Rock values.
Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
Performs Other Functions As Necessary Or As Assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be capable of following directions; must possess good recall and memory.
Must be very detailed oriented.
Must project a professional and positive image.
High energy level.
Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
Knowledge and proficiency to operate industrial dish washers.
Training
Required
All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
