The Role: Bar Back - Circulo
Union Representation: This position is represented by Unite Here and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Responsibilities:
- Have bars set up and stocked one hour prior to the start of each function.
- Keep ice bins filled at all times.
- Cut all fruit used for garnishes and keep back-up containers of fruit filled throughout the shift ensuring safety procedures are followed.
- Keep beer coolers stocked.
- Help to replenish and stock supplies throughout the shift, (i.e. cups, straws, napkins, fruit, refill back-up juices, refill condiments, change soda as needed).
- Empty trash cans.
- Perform general surface cleaning tasks as directed.
- Remove empty bottles and trash using proper recycling procedures.
- Remain professional behind the bars, banquets, or service bars when guests are visible.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
- Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must possess good communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Prior bar experience preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Must be friendly, courteous, cooperative, and reliable.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must possess good communication skills
- Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
- Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire
- Must be ABC certified at time of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.

Starting Hourly Rate: $10.00/hr
