Position Summary
As a Shipping Clerk, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service by ensuring orders are packed, labeled, and shipped accurately and on time. This position supports both domestic and international shipments and helps maintain a smooth, efficient warehouse operation.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
What You’ll Do
- Operate UPS, FedEx, and other carrier systems to process outgoing shipments
- Prepare and verify proper documentation for freight carriers and customs requirements
- Accurately enter tracking numbers and freight charges in SAP
- Request Proof of Delivery (POD) and support Customer Service with shipment follow-up
- Pack orders as needed and ensure proper labeling
- Inspect all outgoing packages to verify accuracy and quality
- Keep detailed records of shipped materials
- Perform daily end-of-day closing tasks for shipping operations
- Order and maintain shipping supplies
- Contact freight companies to schedule pickups and request rate quotes
- Keep your workspace clean and organized using 5S principles
- Participate in daily Shop Floor Management meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support warehouse teammates as needed
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods in a warehouse setting
- Frequent lifting of 5–20 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Moderate noise level with occasional changes in temperature

Qualifications:What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 6 months of experience working with UPS and FedEx systems and regulations
- Basic computer skills, including shipping and tracking software
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Solid math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and verify the quality of your own work
- Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
