School Social Worker High School/Middle School (Probationary)

Ballston Spa Central School District has a vacancy for a School Social Worker. Candidate will provide direct counseling support to both High School and Middle School general education students, including students identified as at-risk. Candidate will collaborate with District staff to develop, support, and implement SEL interventions for students. In addition, the candidate will support student well-being through family and community outreach, collaboration and coordination. Other duties include crisis support and management, development of student support plans, and data collection.

Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: School Social Worker. Licensed Clinical Social Worker preferred

Salary: $51,725/yr. (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base)
