We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to increase equipment reliability either through predictive and planned maintenance or through technical advancement or improvement. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities
- Determine and plan all preventative maintenance required to maximize equipment reliability.
- Analyze failures and work with whatever resources are needed to determine the root cause and reasonable corrective action.
- Identify technical improvements to increase equipment reliability
- Track uptime
- Maintain a spare parts inventory that balances risk investment
- Perform work on the building, production utilities and equipment as required.
- Assist in capital planning and budgeting.
- Work with all departments in process improvement exercises
