Duties
- Operate cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy equipment with precision and safety awareness.
- Rig materials securely for lifting operations, ensuring stability during transport and placement.
- Handle materials efficiently within warehouse environments, including shipping and receiving tasks.
- Assist with construction site activities by coordinating the movement of building materials and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of cranes and heavy machinery to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper rigging techniques and site procedures, to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to execute complex lifting plans and ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating cranes, heavy equipment, or similar machinery on construction sites.
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of cranes, forklifts, excavators, backhoes, and boom trucks.
- Valid commercial driver’s license with endorsements for operating heavy vehicles preferred.
- Strong understanding of rigging procedures and materials handling techniques.
- Experience working in construction environments with a focus on safety compliance.
- Warehouse experience including shipping & receiving is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads as needed. Join us in building something great!
