Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber / Service Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential sites. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks on-site or in a workshop setting
- Conduct remodeling and renovation work involving plumbing components
- Utilize plumbing / gas knowledge for system troubleshooting and repairs when necessary
- Operate construction site equipment including heavy lifting tools and carpentry tools as needed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, or related fields
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of Plumbing / gas systems, remodeling techniques, and maintenance person skills is a plus
- Experience working on construction sites with exposure to heavy lifting and assembly tasks
- Valid commercial driver's license (preferred) for transporting materials or equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined or elevated spaces for extended period.
