Our school is a safe haven for fostering creative development in children. We strive to inspire life-long learning in all children by providing developmentally appropriate, experimental approaches to education through hands-on learning in nature. Our school is located on a working farm with outdoor learning environments for creative exploration. We teach all Virginia state standards in a more creative way than public school. Our children learn by doing instead of rote memorization. Children who learn by engaging in activities retain 80% of their learning, while children who memorize only retain 20%. If you are looking for a creative way to engage children in learning, you may be a good fit for our program. This class has 15 students with one teacher and two assistants.
We are in need of a kindergarten teacher to foster the intellectual, social, and emotional development of our students. The ideal applicant will be creative, hard-working, and enthusiastic, as well as caring, patient, and kind. Working with animals and gardening are added benefits.

- MUST hold Early Childhood Certification
