- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machines or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed.
- Help with bussing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing when necessary.
