Ballard Consignment is growing! We are thrilled to announce the opening of our 4th location in Lynnwood. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Furniture Assembly & Showroom Support specialist (internally known as our "Loader/Lifter") to join our growing Lynnwood team.
In this role, you are the muscle and the craftsman behind our showroom. You’ll be responsible for getting unique inventory floor-ready, ensuring high-quality furniture is handled with care, and keeping the sales floor looking its best for our customers.

Job Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)
- Furniture Assembly: Unbox and expertly assemble new products to be featured on the sales floor.
- Showroom Staging: Frequently move and rearrange heavy furniture to maintain a fresh, high-end display.
- Inbound Loading: Assist consignors with carefully loading in new arrivals for the showroom.
- Customer Load-Outs: Help customers safely load sold items into their vehicles (no delivery coordination required).
- Transfer Support: Pull items and load the company truck for daily transfers to our sister locations.
- Showroom Maintenance: Work with the team to keep the store "showroom ready" through dusting, vacuuming, and shared cleaning duties.
- Tool Care: Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including the proper care of tools and shared equipment.
Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)
- Physical Stamina: This is a heavy-lifting role. Must be able to lift 50 lbs individually and much larger pieces (sofas, armoires, etc.) as part of a team regularly throughout the day.
- Tool Proficiency: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools for furniture assembly.
- Reliability: Punctuality is a must. We need team members who are dependable and can maintain a tight schedule.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively alongside our sales and management teams in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
