Your Responsibilities
- Prepare resident rooms, common areas (dining rooms, lounges, hallways), and administrative spaces for painting, including moving/covering furniture, protecting floors, and meticulous masking.
- Patch, sand, and repair drywall and trim to create a smooth, flawless surface.
- Apply primer and multiple coats of paint expertly and efficiently with brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Work strictly with facility-approved paints and finishes, ensuring proper ventilation and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite daily, minimizing disruption to residents and operations.
- Coordinate respectfully with facility staff and follow all site-specific rules, including background check and health screening requirements.
- Proven professional painting experience, preferably in commercial, healthcare, or institutional settings.
- Strong skills in surface preparation, drywall repair, and achieving impeccable finish work.
- Knowledge of proper safety procedures for working in occupied buildings (ladder safety, chemical use, etc.).
- Excellent time management and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
