What are the responsibilities and job description for the Voice Instructor position at Ballantyne School of Music?
We are currently seeking Vocal Instructors to work Wednesdays 3-8PM at our Indian Land, South Carolina studio (BSM South). Applicants must currently live within a 30-40-minute commute (maximum) of the studio. A minimum daily schedule of 4 hours is required. Ability to also teach piano to an advanced beginner level is a plus but not required. Additional days may be offered, as they become available.
Previous teaching experience is preferred. Solid understanding of music theory and ability to sight read and teach standard notation is requested. Performance experience is a plus. Opportunities to substitute for instructors may also be available, if a long-term commitment is not possible.
