Job Summary

Ball Pro is looking for a reliable Shipping and Receiving Assistant. In this role you will ship via FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip and customer specific shipping portals. You will use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and web browsers. In a typical day, you will process 300 shipments. This position also pulls orders and puts stock away. This position will report to the Shipping Coordinator. Prior forklift experience a plus.

Hours are 9:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. Monday -Friday. Overtime may be required during peak times.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

General responsibilities:

· Ship using UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and Endicia (USPS shipping software)

· Prints packing slips

· Updates order status and adds notes in ERP system

· Receives, unpacks, and inspects and stores incoming inventory and supplies

· Provides shipping quotes to customer service reps and accounting

· Contacts shipping carriers to schedule pick-ups

Other skills:

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong computer skills

· Ability and willingness to learn new programs

· Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. at times

· Performs well in fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

•    Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)

•    Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)

•    Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
