Position Summary
Ball Chain Manufacturing Co., a fifth-generation, family-owned, multi-divisional U.S. manufacturer, is seeking an active, hands-on marketing director for its three divisions: Ball Chain, ShimmerScreen, and LogoTags.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop digital marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring competition
- Plans and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, e-mail, social media, and display advertising campaigns
- Design, build, and maintains our social media presence
- Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-term issues to be addressed
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess relative to goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Manage Rakuten budget and strategy
- Identify trends and insights
- Optimize spend and performance based on insights
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Identify critical conversion points and drop off points, and optimize user funnels

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in marketing or a related field
- Experience in digital marketing, particularly within the manufacturing industry
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM systems, a marketing database, e-mail, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
- Fluency in Salesforce, HubSpot, BigCommerce and similar platforms
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Salary: $90,000 – $125,000
