Seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about food and are looking for an opportunity to expand their culinary experience.
- Line/ Prep Cooks (Daytime Positions)
We are a local family-owned and operated Winery located just 10 minutes North of Downtown Denver. Our Tasting Room is open daily, 7 days week, from 11am-5pm, for Wine Tastings, Winery Tours & Lunch from our in-house full-service kitchen. The winery also has event space where we host a variety of corporate and private events, including weddings, that take place from 6pm-11pm.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare food and partner with team members to serve food that is timely, delicious, and beautifully prepared to impress guests.
- Perform kitchen duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Work with event staff, service staff and front of house staff in a collaborative manner to ensure guests have a wonderful experience.
- Duties include preparing for daytime lunch service, private events & Balistreri wine dinner/events.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate: Is professional, reliable, trustworthy, hard-working, friendly, organized & able to multi-task.
- Has kitchen & food prep experience.
- Is prepared to be a respectful, thoughtful, & professional member of the Balistreri culinary team.
- Uses creative problem solving to overcome obstacles.
- Is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Has a flexible schedule, able to work weekends, evenings & holidays as required.
Compensation & Benefit Details:
- Pay Rate: $20-$28/hour including shared tip pool & gratuities (based on position & experience)
