BTI is seeking an experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our growing operations team.
As an asset-based carrier with 130 trucks, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our customers while supporting our drivers every mile of the way. We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Dispatch and manage a fleet of OTR drivers
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Monitor driver progress and provide updates
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and brokers
- Resolve service issues and keep freight moving efficiently
- Maximize fleet utilization while maintaining excellent customer service
- Previous truck dispatch or transportation experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and make decisions under pressure
- Proficient with transportation software and Microsoft Office
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, and a team player
- Must be flexible with workdays and schedule as business needs require
