Summary
Balfour Beatty is looking for a Quality Control Manager/Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC managing the expansion and renovation projects of two large buildings in DC. Work consists of new work, renovation of historic features, full interior buildout, high end finishes. The QC Manager/Engineer will join the onsite QC team to help manage the contractor’s QC Program with the planning and daily execution of the project. Responsible for maintaining certain QC aspects of the project as assigned by the QC Program Manager, by managing the daily QC tasks of material/equipment delivery and installation.
Essential Functions
The shared time between office and field management operations may include:
- Safety Meetings
- Quality Control reports
- Quality Control Field inspections
- Writing processes and procedures
- Quality Control Audits
- Coordinating inspections
- Compute punch list
- Final inspections and project turnover
Minimum Requirements
- Quality Control experience in large commercial construction projects.
- Experience with QC testing and inspection for all earthwork, concrete, building, and painting/coating, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation trade work.
- Experience working on large projects with a large team.
- Experience recording and organizing all necessary documents to memorialize the implementation, maintenance, confirmation and effectiveness of the contractor’s QC Program and Plans.
- Computer knowledge of office suite programs (excel, word, Procore).
Pay Rate: $110,000-130,000.*

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, incentive, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law and any applicable plan documents.
