Requirements / Qualifications
The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a Fiscal Services Manager for the Early Childhood Education Program. Under the direction of the Director of Early Childhood Education, plan, organize, direct, manage and evaluate District/Program accounting, budgeting and payroll activities; manage and direct fiscal year-end closing process; establish and revise accounting and payroll processes and procedures; conduct accounting and budget analysis; and provide complex staff assistance to multiple administrators and managers. REQUIREMENTS -Five years (5) of responsible accounting and financial record keeping experience, including at least three (3) years of responsible experience in public education. -Two years (2) of experience as a supervisor of accounting and financial record keeping operations. -Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting or business administration. -Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required college education on a year-for-year basis. -A valid California driver’s license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required.
PREFERENCES -A certified public accountant or has, at a minimum, a baccalaureate degree in accounting, business, fiscal management, or a related field.
