Job description
Baldwin General Contracting has multiple sites in the Seattle area which requires a multi-talented laborer. Laborers work directly under the supervision of the Superintendent while representing the company in a professional manner.
Primary Duties
- Demonstrates quality in all work
- Utilizes proper lifting techniques
- Assist with deliveries and verify materials
- Moves material from one location to another
- Removed scrap and trash from the job site
- Assists carpenters and other tradesmen with their tasks
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely Support punch list and finish work
- Performs other tasks as necessary to promote success of the job
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
- Report unsafe conditions immediately
Qualifications
- Able to talk and hear
- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb on a regular basis
- Able to frequently lift and move over 50 pounds
- Able to see near and far
- Able to discern colors
- Have good peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
