What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at Baldovin Construction Company?
An immediate opening is available for an office admin. We are an established general contracting and remodeling company based out of Peoria, IL. We perform work throughout the state of Illinois, and we're looking to grow even more! We are looking for an individual who is highly qualified, motivated, detail oriented and hardworking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and job costing reports
- Maintain accurate records for timesheets, subcontractor documents, and safety compliance
- Schedule meetings, coordinate deliveries, and support project managers as needed
- Assist with payroll and liaise with accountants/bookkeepers
- Maintain filing systems (physical and digital) for contracts, permits, and project documentation
- Support HR functions like onboarding, training coordination, and attendance tracking
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
