Brief Description
The night supervisor is responsible for all functions surrounding picking, loading, and general night warehouse operations. In addition to picking operations, this position will be the point person for all technology equipment and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage full picking staff.
- Maintain an updated Organizational Chart of team and job roles & responsibilities.
- Lead daily shift start up meeting with picking staff.
- Develop, modify, and maintain employee schedules to reduce overtime and maximize team efficiency.
- Palletize orders that come from Ortec to keep pickers working.
- Manage backorder picking process (hot buy truck)
- Be proficient in the Ortec Routing Software.
- Point person for all things inventory, stickering, repacks/transfers.
- Responsible for reporting issues and maintaining inventory/responsible use of technology equipment (devices, scanners & printers) and Material Handling Equipment (jacks & Hi-Lo’s)
- Actively communicate with Inventory Control team on any discrepancies on product or slotting.
- Strive for efficiency and quality of work.
- Communicate clearly with corresponding warehouse and transportation shifts.
- Assist in developing ways senior management can demonstrate commitment & employees can get involved.
- Manage training program for all new hires & existing employees surrounding picking.
- Assist Night Warehouse manager in conducting interviews, and annual reviews.
- Maintain fair and objective disciplinary action in accordance with company requirements.
- Complete and submit personnel injury & accident reports as needed.
- Conduct accident analysis to determine root cause and complete re-training as needed.
- Actively walk the box and floor to be visually present with crew.
- Minimum of 3 years in warehouse management
- Must be able to safely operate warehouse Equipment such as Stand up Hi Lo and Rider Jacks.
- Have a strong understanding and comprehension of all industry specific business functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Kronos, and Teams.
- Warehouse Management Systems - High Jump and Load Management
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team.
- English and Spanish proficiency.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs. and stand and maintain active for long periods of time without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Comfortable working in warehouse environment in different temperature/weather conditions.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
