What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fresh Cut Warehouse Picker position at Baldor Professional Services, LLC?
Overview:
A Fresh Cuts warehouse picker is responsible for accurately locating, selecting, and gathering products from storage shelves within the warehouse based on the work order requirements. The Fresh Cuts warehouse picker will scan raw material to production and maintain the warehouse area organized.
Responsibilities:
- Scan into production all RM per WOs and scanned back to inventory extra and / or returned RM. Assigned & scan returns into single location.
- Execute the FIFO method with all raw material requested by the work order.
- Move P/Q Raw Material to BIRR.
- Assists auditing inventory by checking daily “one item / multiple locations” and / or “one location w / multiple items” reports.
- Assist inventory adjustments based upon office audit results.
- Coach; assist; and oversee new trainees.
- Enforce GMPs, HACCP and SQF norms and regulations during daily operation.
- Maintain FC Warehouse area organized; clean; and neat including single location racks.
- Report any incident to FC supervisory and / or management team.
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms. (e.g. restacking pallets/condensing locations)
- Ability to operate electrical jack.
- Indirect/direct contact with raw onions for long periods of time (minimum of 8 hours).
- Exposure to chlorine for a minimum of 8 hours
Physical Abilities:
- Hearing and speaking to exchange information.
- Dexterity of hands to perform the tasks required of the position.Sight in order to be aware of hazards and dangers found in the nature of the work.
- Regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., will be lifting boxes, buckets and/or bags etc.
Education and Experience:
- High School or equivalent.
- Warehousing experience preferred.
Technology Skills:
- Use of handheld scanners to verify inventory and maintain proper stock levels.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment – exposure to a variety of machines and noise levels
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated room 36 °F – 38 °F
