What You'll Do
As a Banquet Captain, You'll Be The Point Person For Your Assigned Events — Ensuring Everything Runs Smoothly, Beautifully, And On Time. You'll
- Oversee banquet service for private events, weddings, and special occasions
- Lead, coach, and support banquet staff during events, fostering a positive, professional team environment
- Ensure all rooms are set precisely according to the BEO (Banquet Event Order)
- Act as the liaison between Front of House and Back of House to ensure seamless service
- Conduct regular floor checks during events, assisting the team as needed
- Handle Member and guest concerns promptly, professionally, and with care
- Maintain excellent service timing and pacing throughout each event
- Troubleshoot event needs in real time (AV, music, heaters, fans, room flow, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and service standards
- Complete opening, closing, and post-event checklists and reports
- Continuously look for ways to elevate service and improve satisfaction scores

- Have hands-on banquet or event service experience (required)
- Understand fine dining and high-end hospitality standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and staff

- Private club experience is a plus, but not required.
