Job Location: Balcon Enterprises, Inc., Roscoe, IL
Job Description - Foreman at Balcon Enterprises (aka Helluva Container) Box Processing Warehouse
- 7:30-4:00 Full-time; Mon-Fri.
- Coverage is needed during regular office hours.
- Competitive pay depends on experience.
Pay: $20 - negotiable based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers using a forklift.
- Act as a lead on the floor
- Be in charge of warehouse when Supervisor & Manager aren’t available.
- Assist with overseeing employee performance and process adherence.
- Address and report warehouse & employee issues to Supervisor &/or Site Manager.
- Assist with sorting, inspection, and refurbishment of used boxes & other areas of warehouse.
- Become expert point of contact for employee questions on above activities
- Monitor & help train employees to ensure Balcon guidelines for inspection and refurbishment of used boxes is followed.
- Follow and enforce Balcon safety practices and assist with safety meetings.
- Follow Supervisor lead on planning for inbound & outbound shipments
- Verify accurate and timely processing of inbound & outbound shipments.
- Assist Supervisor & Site Manager with paperwork when needed.
- Help perform routine cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
- Inspect loads for quality before shipping.
- Ensure a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications
- Be able to back a trailer to a dock.
- Forklift certification with proven operator experience required, bobcat experience a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous leadership / supervisory experience required
- Be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Great communication skills working with all levels of employees
- Strong customer focus mind-set.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
- Dependable and flexible.
- Occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
